about
The "soundbites' on the album are short sounds impressions of my dayle life. This particular "soundbite" comes from a voicemail that Victoria Hamilton, a friend of Jane Hepburn, left on her phone. I simply loved how positive her energy was and how musical sounded her "love you, love you" at the end of the message, so I decided to "echo it" even more. Playing with combinations of sounds we put her voice over the sound of the clock announcing the hour, that Christian happens to be registering just when I was accidentally also playing the keyboards. The result is a blending of sounds and the "soundbite" "Victoria" previous to "Ecos".

This remix LP reframes songs from Dear Nora’s “Skull Example,” sometimes making them sleeker, sometimes disassembling them entirely. Bandcamp New & Notable May 14, 2019
