about
It became the title of the album and the phrase “you better keep on moving” the leitmotiv for all of it. I wrote it in a "Greyhund" bus going from Texas to Los Angeles years ago. I did the melody in a broken guitar back in Sweden. It sounded kind of rockabilly when I used to play it with the Petalo Blue band in L.A. Then Oscar added a sort of mystery to the sound. When porducer Jorge Esteban put a motor starting, it inspired me later to create “soundbites” in most of the songs. Producer Pablo Valero gave a forward direction to this "car" cutting the old chorus replacing it by a couple of lines I had in the earlier version. Editing around, adding new sounds, playing his guitar the song turn into a more dance beat still keeping the road feeling with the sound of a slide guitar and a soft touch of a butlizer sound play by Allan.
lyrics
You better keep on moving
You are driving on the highway; driving on the road
Sleeping on the back seat hiding on the fog
Your heart is set on motion; you are reading all the sings
You are a little special don’t ask me why
You want to be my lover traveling without end
From Texas to Arizona you wish to be in L.A
Spend a night in Vegas in a “kitsch” Motel
Vision cross your window strange people on the way
You are driving on the highway; you are driving on the road
You are driving on the highway; you’re driving on the road
You are driving on the highway, you are driving on the highway You drive! You are driving !
Living in a, living in a car ( you are driving!)
Living in a, living in a car (you drive, you are driving !)
Living in a, living in a car (you are driving!)
Living in a (strange people) you drive! you are driving!
Living in a car, all your senses are driving fast
Living in a car, “la joi de vivre des amants “
Living in a car, you know they call you bizarre …vision cross you window..
You are driving on the highway; you are driving on the road
You are driving on the highway; you are driving on the road
(Living in a car) You are driving on the highway ….
You are driving on the highway...eh eh eh eh, you drive! you are driving , living in a car
You are driving on the highway eh eh eh eh, living in a car
You drive! You drive!, highway eh eh eh eh, living in a car
You are driving on the highway eh eh eh eh, you drive!, you are driving, driving on the road
