about

A moment of sadness, a "passenger", gave me the inspiration to write this song. The melody came directly from a guitar i heard playing in my computer.Later my friend Mary Allen helped me built the tune.Producer Pablo Valero visualize the rest, we wanted piano and classical strings. He worked in Mexico with Sanchez Dub for the arrangements. The drums were done by Mauricio Claverias.
Black Rose is the title of a children history I once wrote, about how everybody is somewhere, sometime very special for somebody else, like a "black rose', you just find one if you look with the eyes of true love.

lyrics

BLACK ROSE

Oh I never let you down,
I loved you we were bound
Looking for a piece of the sun

Oh in the middle of the storm
There was nothing left to know

You were knocking at my door
Looking for the black rose
You were standing there so sure
The truth within your soul …and I fell in love

Oh oh I learned to listen to your silence
I got lost and I felt weak
Before I find you in that kiss
Oh I hope I’ll find you still

You think I was wasting all my tears, all the time, the memories
They were just a part of me …. (when)
You loved me; you loved what I have to give
In those faces, in that sound, in the places we were around
As I left the scene and walked away, with the pieces of my broken heart
Trying to convince myself, that there is a place to be if you still remember me

Cause you loved me
You loved what I have to give,
In the faces, in that sound, in the places we were around
As I left the scene and walked away with the pieces of my broken heart, Trying to convince myself that there is a place to be, an a reason for this to be if you still remember me..
